My daughter was evaluated at her school for her to start in the resource program many of you might know this as RSP or having an IEP set up so she can get the extra help she needs in school. I myself was in this as well as my husband. The meeting that we went to explaining if she does need the extra help said she in fact does need it and they also evaluated her for ADD/ADHD and they can see that she falls into that category. So being scared of putting her on medications mainly because of them being so chemically icky and toxic and because I've heard bad stories about them. So as a mama bear I put my foot down and said NO she will NOT be on medication and lose out on her beautiful unique one of a kind self. So I have been doing research and we started out by changing her diet as well as ours which is a plus for all of us for so many reasons anyways so she eats less processed foods and this goes for our son as well they both aren't allowed candies or cakes or anything like that unless it a special occasion and even then it's limited. Just the other day I started the kiddos on the Ultimate Omega Junior which is the child version of fish oil so far I've seen in her a little bit of a change. But i'm not totally convinced as of yet. I want to try out some essential oils out as well and I just found a great site for them here http://www.nativeamericannutritionals.com/. They are a bit pricey but seeing as how most cheap things aren't what they say they are when they are that cheap. I'd pay that much for them if it's going to help her out without having to put her on those horrid pills. Will update more when it's been longer than a few days on the fish oil.
