Here is what you'll need if you want to go ahead and try this yourself:
Ingredients:
- Raw Almonds
- Filtered water
- 2 Tbsp Raw organic honey ( or whatever sweetener you want) add as much as you'd like to your taste.
- 1/2 tsp pure organic Vanilla (optional I added it mainly because my hubby likes the vanilla milk) add as much as you'd like to your taste.
Items you need to do this:
- Either a blender or a food processor
- Nut-milk bag/ cheese cloth/ or small hole strainer
The How-To part:
- Soak your almond in your water make sure the water is a bit above the almonds they do expand it's that same way if you were to soak dry beans.
- Add contents into blender and blend for 45 seconds
- pour it into your cloth and squeeze out the milk
- after all is drained out add honey and vanilla and put into a container and put it into the refrigerator to keep cold
- Enjoy your homemade chemically & GMO-free almond milk!!
